In September 1958, Power and his wife Deborah traveled to Madrid and Valdespartera, Spain to film the epic Solomon and Sheba, directed by King Vidor and costarring Gina Lollobrigida. Probably affected by hereditary heart disease, and a chain smoker who smoked three to four packs a day,[36] Power had filmed about 75% of his scenes when he was stricken by a massive heart attack while filming a dueling scene with his frequent costar and friend George Sanders. A doctor diagnosed the cause of Power's death as "fulminant angina pectoris."[37] Power died while being transported to the hospital in Madrid on November 15, at the age of 44.[5][6]
Fantastic overall package, looks great and always earns compliments.I've found this bike really punches above it's weight and mixes looks, road presence and performance with bikes of all sizes. I think this is a classic example of a genius design, where the sum is so much greater than its individual parts. The biggest downside really is where do I go from here; other bikes (including bigger bikes) look boring in the flesh by comparison or they're double the price. In fact so much so, that I'm considering getting a second bike as well (albeit much older) as I'm seriously struggling to justify letting this go!
